It never stops…or ‘you know you’re a writer when’ Part 1

April 22, 2010

You know you’re a writer when:

1-You bring a pen and notebook with you when you go out
2-If you’ve no notebook handy,  the back of a crumpled grocery receipt will also do…or the back of an envelope…or the brown paper towel from a public washroom…
3-Road signs give you writing ideas
4-You write in your car at stoplights.
5-You get up in the middle of the night to write something down (aka ‘writer’s insomnia’)
